The debut of another iconic robot. Hypno-Disc boasted a massive flywheel capable of ripping opponents to pieces. This was the first robot to really demonstrate the potential of the horizontal flywheel, and how much energy can be stored in them. They tore up bots like Robogeddon and Stealth, had some issues with reliability in later fights, but still made it all the way to the Grand Final. The lack of a srimech was it's downfall though, and Chaos 2 took full advantage of that flipping them over.Hypno-Disc also won the special award for Most Original Entry. - SuperSonic17
